Sasktoon Urban Reserve: $40 million commercial complex coming

Saskatoon is on the rise with a $40-million high design commercial office complex in downtown Saskatoon, to be built by the Yellow Quill First Nation.

In 1988 the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation created the first (designated) urban reserve in Saskatoon (notwithstanding urban reserves that border municipalities, such as Tsuu T’ina Nation or Enoch Nation). According to CBC, there are now more than 120 urban reserves across Canada (http://bit.ly/1J0DTPn).
